Nhà tuyển dụng tại Newfoundland and Labrador muốn tham gia chương trình Nhập Cư Đại Tây Dương (AIP) phải được văn phòng Di Trú và Đa văn hoá (OIM) chỉ định bằng cách đáp ứng một số yêu cầu bao gồm cả cam kết hỗ trợ người mới đến và gia đình của họ để họ dễ dàng hoà nhập vào cuộc sống mới của Atlantic Canada.
Sau khi được chỉ định, người tuyển dụng lao động có thể chuyển tiếp đơn đăng ký từ công dân nước ngoài sang OIM để được chứng thực, thu hút những công dân nước ngoài nộp đơn xin giấy phép lao động hoặc thường trú.
